Repair Programme

Cherished clothes deserve to last a lifetime, which is why every Kowtow garment comes with a promise of free repair to extend its life. Since the launch of our repair programme in New Zealand in 2018, we have repaired and extended the life of over 1000 garments.

WHAT CAN WE REPAIR

Our Repair Programme covers minor repairs, and accepts all Kowtow garments, whether purchased directly from kowtowclothing.com, our stores or one of our stockists.

For larger rips or stains, we also offer the Japanese patching technique Sashiko for a small fee. This bespoke option is about valuing and extending the life of the garment by not only strengthening it, but taking the time to make it beautiful as well.

    • All other repairs are determined by assessment, so get in touch with our team today for more information and advice on extending the life of your beloved garment.



    Get in touch

  • Email customercare@kowtowclothing.com with a brief description, and photos of the area of your garment that needs some TLC, so our team can assess it.
  • Our team will assess your garment within the week.
  • If it meets our repair guidelines, we will email you further instructions for submitting your garment into our repair programme.
  • You ship your garment to us for repair.
  • Your garment will be repaired by our team within 4 weeks.
  • We will send your repaired garment back to you free of charge.


    • Alternatively, you are welcome to visit a Kowtow store and our team will look after your repair assessments directly.
